CIT 110 - A+ Hardware (Online)

This course will prepare you for questions about the hardware topics in the A+ certification tests. It is best to take both CIT 110 and 111 before attempting the CompTIA A+ Certification Exams.  They can be taken at the same time.

CIT 110 consists of lectures, chapter tests, labs, a midterm and a final.  Each chapter test has 10 questions (except for Quiz 1). The midterm has 50 questions and the final has 100 questions. Questions are from the text book, other readings and lectures.

This class is different from other DE and on-campus classes. All of the material is located on or through Angel. The lectures can be played at any time and as often as you wish, 24/7. There are no set meeting times. If your schedule is such that studying at 3:00am is best for you, you can do so. The tests (chapter, Midterm, and Final) are accessible at any time, 24/7.

The class becomes active (available) at midnight on the first day of the semester. All work must be completed by the date indicated on the syllabus. You can wait and do all the tests during the last week (not recommended), or do extra in one week if you know you will be busy the next week with other things.
